I recently applied for the AMEX nectar card, mainly to take advantage of all these foursquare offers floating around at the moment and the opportunity to earn more nectar. I unfortunately got declined, when speaking to AMEX they said it is likely that the system could not find my credit file from their agency - which I thought was a bit odd.
After reading some appeals templates on here, I sent off an appeals letter last week, because as far as I am concerned I feel as if I am in a strong financial position. I also held an AMEX card 2 years ago which was always used monthly and paid off in full, so hopefully that goes my way.
I was just wondering if anyone else has had any experience good or bad with decision appeals with AMEX?
