My partner and I are moving into a new house and would like a 0% credit card for home furnishings (etc) with the intention of squirreling the cash away in our ISAs until it needs paid.
My worry is failing a credit check at the new address as we will have literally have just moved in.

My worry is failing a credit check at the new address as we will have literally have just moved in.
Key points to mention:
- We have both have good credit ratings
- We have recently been approved for a reasonable sized mortage based on our earnings
- We still hold the previous address, so checking there would still be an option. I have concerns about changing the address on the credit card so soon after it is opened, do companies recheck at new address within a set period of time? What are the repercussions if we fail?
TIA
