Could anyone give me a bit of advice/if you've seen anything like this happen before?
I applied for a Capital One Classic VISA credit card because I am only 18 with very little credit history (It was my only option, really) and I was surprised to see they accepted me with, what I read as a £1,500 credit limit.
Today, I received an email from them asking to set up my online account, and soon enough I realised that my credit limit was sat at only £200. I tried calling them, only to be hung up on TWICE before they even let me finish asking my question (I wasn't talking rude, either!).
For the record, I have a screenshot of my reference number which has the words "We've set you up with an easy-to-manage credit limit of 1,500" written underneath - which to me seems like they are telling me that is MY credit limit, not the maximum or anything like that.
Do I have anything to go on here? Or am I stuck with a £200 CL?
