Balance Transfer and Credit history !

Wondering if doing balance transfer from one card to another card effect your credit file.

I am willing to buy few gadgets worth around £600 and thinking about to buy from credit card and do the balance transfer from my other card instead paying the bill from my debit card.

Advice please.
