CAPITAL ONE Default

Hi I was wandering if anyone can help i am a little stuck here i have had a capital one credit building credit card since 2009 i started with a £100 limit and built it up to £2800, i have had a change in circumstance and have ended up with a default were the agreement has been terminated i do not want it to affect me any further and do not know what to do the reason i have had the issue and the debt has gone to £3500 now also i would like to add note i had a dispute which i do not think they settled of £2000 and i think they have charged me and also another dispute of £700 for a product purchase, what i really need to know is if anyone can advise me on what to do and to sort this out my financial situation is not the best at the moment but i have always been upfront payments on time and full amount, i do not know what to do??? and do not want to damage my now clear credit history?
