I have three credit cards and a good credit score. One of them I haven't used for a few years (I got it for the free airline miles). It is not my oldest credit card. There is no balance on it. It has a $2000 credit limit. The other two cards have around $4000 credit limit each.
Which is likely to be worse for my credit score--closing the card I don't use or keeping it open and not using it at all? I'd rather do one of these options rather than charge a little on it each month, unless doing so will greatly affect my credit score.
Opinions?
